Seven gold medals to be contested on Tuesday

The fourth day of the 2018 Asian Games to contest seven gold medals.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Seven gold medals will be contested on the fourth day of the 2018 Asian Games athletic branch at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium here on Tuesday. The race to win the seven gold medals will start around 6:35 pm local time, starting with the men's 110 meter hurdle race, followed by pole vault and javelin throwing.

In addition, there will be final competition for men's and women's 800-meter run and women's 5,000-meter run. The athletic race on Tuesday will be closed with a mixed 4X100-meter relay run.

Indonesian athletes themselves are scheduled to go down to the women's pole vault number by Diva Renata Jayadi, the female javelin throwing by Siti Nazirwah Munawaroh, and Odekta Elvina Naibaho on the the 5,000-meter run and the mixed relay run.

Previously, 22 gold medals have been contested over the three days during the 2018 Asian Games athletic branch.

For the time being, Bahrain athletes occupie the first place in the medal standings with 6 gold.
