REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Acting state-owned oil and gas holding company PT Pertamina (Persero) president director Nicke Widyawati has been appointed as definitive president director of the company. The news also has been confirmed by Corporate Marketing director Basuki Trikora Putra or called Tiko.

“Yes, it’s officially Mrs Nicke is PT Pertamina president director now,” said Tiko on Wednesday (August 29).

According to Tiko, after Nicke’s appointment, there is also a new PT Pertamina Human Resources director. He said a new Human Resources director is Koeswiranto Koeshartanto, who known as former PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Human Resources director.

In addition, Tiko confirmed a new PT Pertamina Upstream director is Dharmawan Samsu. Therefore, he officially replaced Syamsu Alam on today.

Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) will hold a press conference related to the appointment of the new Pertamina President Director. Previously, SOEs Minister Rini Sumarno was reported had submitted three candidates to fill the position. 

Nicke was one of the three. She becomes the second female PT Pertamina president director after Karen Agustiawan. Before assigned as caretaker to replace Pertamina Chief Executive Elia Massa Manik on April, she was the chairperson of the oil and gas holding implementation.
