REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two witnesses for Idrus Marham, a suspect in Riau-1 coal-fired power plant (PLTU) construction project bribery case. The two witnesses are PT Isargas director Iswan Ibrahim and PT Asmin Koalindo employee Tuhup Nine Afwani.
“Today we scheduled the examination for witnesses, they will be questioned for suspect IM (Idrus Marham), related to the cooperation agreement in Riau-1 coal-fired power plant construction project,” said KPK spokesperson Yuyuk Andriati on Monday (Sept 10).
Idrus was appointed as suspect related to his involvement in Riau-1-coal-fired power plant construction project bribery case on last August 24. He is suspected together with another suspect EMS (Eni Maulani Saragih) to have received gifts from JBK (Johanes Budi Kotjo).
Idrus allegedly knew and has taken part related to money that received by former deputy chairwoman of the Commission VII of the Parliament Eni Maulani Saragih when he served as acting Golkar Party general chairman in November to December 2017 and as social affairs minister. He also suspected played a role in encouraging the signing of Purchase Power Agreement (PPM) to buy and sell Riau-1 coal-fired power plant construction project.
In addition, Idrus allegedly have received a promise to get the same money as Eni, which was 1,5 million US dollar. He allegedly violated Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 Law No. 31/1999 as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Eradication Corruption.
Meanwhile, KPK also summoned two other witnesses suspect JBK. The witnesses were Corporate Planning Director PT PLN Syofvi Felienty Roekman nd PT Global Energi Manajement director Mah Riana.
In the investigation of Riau-1 coal-fired power plant construction project bribery case, suspect Eni has returned Rp 500 million to KPK. In addition, Golkar Party administrator also returned around Rp 700 million related to the graft case.
