REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- National Police has submitted letter to the Directorate General of Immigration, to prevent three people who were on the most-wanted list (DPO). The three, known by their initials LC, LD, and SL, were suspects of bank burglary.
“Based on the result of examination, National Police decided to submit a letter to immigration to monitor the movement of the three suspects,” said National Police spokesman Dedi Prasetyo on Thursday (Sept 27).
Dedi said immigration will issue travel ban, while National Police is only in charge of submitting written request. However, National Police continues to pursue the suspects.
“We are still pursuing the fugitives,” Dedi added.
The disclosure of bank burglary case, started from Panin Bank’s report in early August. Daniel explained, PT SNP applied for a loan for working capital credit facilities and a checking account facility to Bank Panin for the period May 2016 to 2017 with a ceiling to debtors amounting to Rp425 billion. However, in May this year, the credit status was stalled at Rp 141 billion.
According to Deputy Director of Special Economic Crimes National Police, Daniel Tahi Monag Silitongan, based on investigation, PT SNP has allegedly conducted criminal acts of document forgery, embezzlement, fraud and money laundering. He said the modus was by adding, duplicating, and using the fictitious accounts.
"The modus is by adding, duplicating and using the (fictitious) accounts receivable list, in the form of a data list in PT CMP," said Daniel.
Daniel revealed PT SNP also manipulated credit facility proposal to other bank creditors as many as 14 banks consisting of state-owned banks and private banks. The total losses related to credit facilities are around Rp14 trillion.
Police have arrested and determined five suspects, namely President Director of PT SNP with the initials DS, AP (Operational Director), RA (Finance Director), CDS (Accounting Manager) and the US (Financial Assistant Manager). Meanwhile, the other three, namely LC, LD, and SL, are still at large.
