REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) secured 10 people in red-handed operation in Bekasi Regency, West Java on Sunday (Oct 14). According to the anti-graft institution spokesperson, Febri Diansyah, currently they are being investigated.
“10 people are secured, from private and government official elements. Currently, investigation is being conducted at KPK office,” said Febri on Monday (Oct 15).
In addition, Febri said KPK team also sealed a number of Bekasi Regency Government rooms. According to him, the red-handed operation was related to property licensing in Bekasi.
“There’s money in Singapore dollar which also secured as initial evidence,” Febri added.
KPK team has reported to seal Bekasi Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Office on Sunday (Oct 14) evening. There was no further information about the other things in the red-handed operation.
