REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice presidential candidate number 02 Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno visits Bopet Rajawali Juanda, Padang, West Sumatra, on Friday morning. He wanted to seek the people's inputs over breakfast and dialog with the residents in one of the popular breakfast places.

Sandiaga has promised to change and return of economic power to the country. "The point is that MSMEs such as these can restore the strength of the national economy," Sandiaga noted in a written statement received in Jakarta on Friday.

During his visit to Padang, Prabowo Subianto's vice presidential pick enjoyed mixed meat soup from Padang with the two half cooked eggs dunked in soup. "It is delicious. Food like this absorbs employment and can bring prosperity to the surrounding community," Sandiaga noted.

Moreover, culinary arts can develop tourism potential in this Padang area. Culinary tourism is now a prima donna, he stated.

After the meal, hundreds of mothers were seeing lining up outside the Rajawali restaurant as they awaited the vice-presidential candidates for the Gerindra Party stretcher, Prosperous Justice Party, National Mandate Party, and Democrats.

Sandiaga, in a short speech, said it was time to bring about a change and further economic improvements as well as to realize an economy that absorbs employment and keeps prices of basic needs stable and affordable.
