REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDARLAMPUNG -- Mount Anak Krakatau in the Sunda Strait, South Lampung Regency, Lampung Province experienced 336 eruptions and 41 of them were observed with a high ash column of 200-600 meters above the peak. It happened throughout Tuesday (Oct 23) until Wednesday morning.

Shallow volcanic 9 times, amplitude 7-40 mm, duration 10-14 seconds. Volcanic in 4 times, amplitude 42-50 mm, S-P 1.2-2 seconds, duration 8-20 seconds.
Continuous tremor (Microtremor) is recorded with an amplitude of 5-27 mm (dominant 5 mm). The weather is bright and cloudy. The wind blows weakly towards the north. Air temperature is 24-25 degrees Celsius and air humidity is 81-100 percent.
Visual mist 0-III. Crater smoke is not observed.
Observed from CCTV fire and flares of lava, there was a thud, a glass vibration that was felt weakly at Mount Anak Krakatau Observation Post.
