REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG — Bandung District Court has held trial against five minors who became defendants in violence case that resulted death of Haringga Sirila. The sole judge Suwanto then decided acquitted one of them, but four remaining was found guilty and got punishment from three to four years imprisonment.
The trial was divided into two sessions. In the first session, three of defendants SH (16), AR (15), and TD (17). Then in the second session, there were NSF (17) and AF (16).
SH and AR were sentenced to four years imprisonment, while TD three years and six months imprisonment. Three of them were found guilty, as they were proven to do an action which caused the death of Haringga.

A number of evidences lead them to be snared with Article 170 verse (2) on beatings that cause people loss lives. However, the sentence is lighter than prosecutor demands.
Meanwhile, AF got sentence three years imprisonment. Then, NSF was declared innocence and he was released from all prosecutor demands.
Sole judge Suwanto read the verdict on the case of assault that lead to the death of Persija's fan Haringga Sirila, at Bandung District Court, West Java, Tuesday (Nov 6).
NSF lawyer, Leksa Dharma said the judge decision was objective enough. He assessed the judge has seen from the facts and his client was proven to not involve in the beating.
“We see facts, there is no witness and my clientdid not do that,” Leksa said,
Haringga died after being mobbed by rival supporters during a match between Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta at Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Sunday (Sept 23). Hundreds of bystanders did not come to his aid.
