A several number of small incidents provoked by various irrational jealousy concerning their respective interest had taken place in the recent years among a number of religious followers. Two significant incidents noted so far to take place in Tolikara, Papua and what happened in Singkil, Aceh Province. Realizing to the existence of element that is potential to provoke this kind of incident in the society we tend to think that such kind of unexpected disagreement or conflict could easily to take place among the religious followers in this country at any time.

Welcoming religious feasts and the New Year for international community we tend to concern that such kind of unexpected events may take place disturbing the peaceful situation we are always expecting.  Of course supported with hope and pray to God Almighty, the Government always tried that there’s no any disturbance will take place  anywhere in this country during the religious feasts.

This kind of awareness and alertness clearly have dominated the heart and mind of every  wise figures especially the leaders of this country, covering  since those Cabinet Ministers down to local administration,  the security organization  at all level in this country and also many kinds of religious leaders of this country. Those figures are always trying to remind the people that violence is not thought by any religion we choose to follow. Beside of that clearly the Government does not tolerate whatever violence to take place in this country. Hard and strong action will always be taken by the Security Unit to cope with it.

Accordingly, the situation during religious feasts and commemoration of the New Year Eve this year in Indonesia as it had happened every year in the past will likely be running in secure and peaceful situation. Spiritual aspect as the essence of the religious life has been developing tremendously in this country. Indonesia though does not belong to religious states, but Indonesia is may be the  only country to have The Ministry of Religion in her Cabinet. This kind of reality has certainly been acknowledged by every Indonesian citizen who are active in religious organization.

Thanks to the output of National Development Program in general, the maturity of among religious followers as a part of the Indonesian society has been also developing and increasing. This kind of achievement seems likely making  the easy way to make all the religious followers to become aware on the important  factors to establish more better life. That important factor among others is the readiness of every citizen to live together peacefully side by side among all citizens whatever their respective belief, so everyone could work according to their respective professionalism peacefully.

The awareness among the Indonesian citizens that the life arrangement in the State of The Republic of Indonesia have  been also more and more treated orderly has been a real fact of Indonesian life. People tend to realize that all aspects of life of the Indonesian people have been arranged orderly according to the Law and Regulations. So it is not anyone else could do something just doing in according   to the will of his heart and mind, he or she should follow the existing rule or regulation.

Well, accordingly all of those religious followers should understand that though to follow any religion or belief is free according to his individual right,  but the way to perform their respective religion and belief everyone has to commit to the existing rule.  All religious believers as a member of citizens are subject to obey and to follow what the respective local Government decides and orders. The local Government is the representative of the Central Government.

Nowadays, due to the hard and strong action taken by the security apparatus, the radicalism tend reducing drastically. Beside of the hard and strong action taken by the security force the active effort done by a number of religious leaders to educate their follower to avoid violence have also supported the effort launch by the Government. In case of terrorism this is of course a problem that should be and have been handled seriously by the Special Security Unit concerns. We tend to believe to the readiness and awareness of this credible Special Unit, so any terrorist activity could be detected earlier.

Religious feasts at the end of this year tend to indicate can be hailed and commemorated normally by the religious follower concerns  and also the New Year Eve will run normally  especially in the big city such as Jakarta. The Government will really keep correct to protect and respecting the right of every body to perform their belief in accordance to their religious tradition.  However all the religious follower has to perform their religious tradition in accordance to the arrangement approved by the government dealing on religious affair.

The government Section which is dealing on the religious affair should wisely coordinate with other religious group to avoid misunderstanding and disagreement once crucial religious problem take place in the society. In case of unintended disagreement or conflict taking place among the religious group the Government should make his decision to solve the problem in according to the existing rule and regulation also to solve the problem through peacefully communication and consultation between the conflicting group as well as negotiation and consultation among the respective society.

Radicalism that tend to increase in recent years among several religious follower tend to have been handled effectively by the Security Apparatus and also the successful effort of a number of respected religious leaders  to control their masses. Terrorism that manipulates religious activities certainly will not be neglected by the Special Security Unit concern. Special awareness and alertness to the possible terrorist activity in this country are believed to be done effectively. Based on the national philosophy Pancasila, the State Constitution and a number of Rule and Regulation also Consensus among the religious follower, we can expect any unintended conflict among the religious followers can be avoided.
