REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Bali still becomes favorite tourism destination for foreign tourists, especially tourists from China. Bali has a strong attractiveness because of its beautiful nature and culture.

Wang Jun, a China's 45-years-old tourist, came to Indonesia with his wife, son and father. They firstly arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Jakarta and then departed to Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali.

According to Wang, Bali is known as the best destination in Indonesia for Chinese tourists. He was interested in Bali because of the uniqueness of culture and nature. He and his family visited Ubud, Sanur and Kuta in a week.

"The most famous tourism place is Bali. Jakarta is the second, but people are more interested in Bali," said Wang after greeted by the Ministry of Tourism team, Sunday (27/9) in World Tourism Day 2015.

The same thing was said by Jeffrey Sun. He was one of a group of 200 tourists from China who were going on holiday to Bali. He said that Bali tourism places could not be compared with other places.

"Bali is very famous in China. That is my reason to visit Bali," he added.

Syamsul Lussa, Expert Staff in Maritime of Ministry of Tourism, said tourists from China still made Bali as favorites. However, he stated that the Ministry has a strategy, named the "Great Bali" to promote destinations around Bali and other areas in Indonesia.

"For example, there will be direct flights from Bali to Manado. So that later they (tourists China) can return to their country via Manado or the Pacific Islands," said Syamsul.
