REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON -- Hundreds of cabs in London, England, which was known as Black Cab, promoted Indonesian tourism. The door and body of the cab was plastered with pictures of various Indonesian tourism attractions such as Borobudur, Raja Ampat Papua, and Tanah Lot Bali.
"There are 190 cabs which is iconic and popular in London, England, to promote attractions in Indonesia," said Director of Marketing Communications Abroad of Ministry of Tourism, Noviendi Makalam, Tuesday (27/10).
There was also engraved inscription "Pure Paradise" at the front side of the cab, then the logo "Wonderful Indonesia" on the front door with the Indonesian tourism official website address, www.indonesia.travel.
Moreover, Noviendi added, Indonesia targeted 200 thousand tourists from England. The promotion was related to Wonderful Indonesia campaign in tourism exhibition of World Tourism Market (WTM), which took place at the Excel London on 2nd to 5th November 2015.
Advertisement of Wonderful Indonesia has became Ministry of Tourism efforts in enhancing brand awareness in England and other 188 countries, that were participating in the WTM London.
