REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA-- Political Communication Institute (PolcoMM) conducted a survey about the electability of presidential candidates by Islamic based party. The result, PolcoMM put Jusuf Kalla who had the highest electability of 17.6 percent.
PolcoMM carried out the survey in 29 provinces in Indonesia involving 1,200 participants on January 15 to February 15, 2014. Participants were citizens who had been included in voter lists. Kalla got majority of participants.
"Public choose Kalla as he has good performance in social and community services," PolcoMM Director, Heri Budianto said recently as reported by Irfan Fitrat.
Kalla has quick response in making decision in public eyes. The former vice president also provided solutions to many problems in this country. Hatta Rajasa was in the second place. Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs has electability of 10.8 percent.
He was highly accepted by Indonesian citizens. Former Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Yusril Ihza Mahendra was in the third place with 9.3 percent. He has competence in constitutional law to bring the change of state system.
Former Chairman of Constitutional Court, Mahfud MD got 7.3 percent voters. He has a clean track record in the Court and also perceived as a bold character. The other names are Hidayat Nur Wahid, a senior politician of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) with 4.2 percent.
