REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NEW DELHI -- India has invited Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend the swearing in ceremony of its new prime minister Narendra Modi, said local media Wednesday.
New Delhi has also invited other heads of state or government of the member countries of the South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation to be present at the ceremony on May 26.
Modi has called on Pakistan to stop all alleged hostile activities against India for improving relations.
However, the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi has rejected any precondition for talks on improving bilateral relations.
