JAKARTA -- The performance of a number of national banks in Indonesia shows a positive trend amid the corona virus pandemic.
Bank Mandiri (BMRI) posted a net profit of Rp5.9 trillion in the first quarter of 2021. Bank Mandiri's net profit is in line with profit before provision (PPOP) of Rp14.1 trillion, or grew 1.7 percent.
President Director of Bank Mandiri Darmawan Junaidi said one of the keys to the company's success generating performance at the beginning of this year, by paying attention to the leading sectors in each region that still have positive prospects and good quality.
