REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Director General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Muhammad Ali Ramdhani said he opened the registration of new students for various leading madrasas throughout Indonesia.

Ramdhani explained that the Ministry will select strictly to attend education in 24 MAN Insan Scholars (IC), 11 MAN Religious Programs (PK) and 2 State Vocational High Schools throughout Indonesia. MAN IC is a national leading madrasah in the field of science and humanities under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. MAN IC is ready to accommodate new students.

“MAN IC graduates are expected to access top national and international universities, as well as become technocrats, scientists, and future leaders in their respective fields,” Ramdhani said in a written statement received by Republika.co.id on Thursday (4/1/2024).

While related to MAN PK, Ramdhani revealed that MAN PK is a national flagship madrasah in the field of religion and religion that is directly built by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. MAN PK graduates are expected to be able to combine sincerity and intelligence.

Madrasah M Sidik Sisdiyanto, Director of Institutional and Municipal Facilities Curriculum (KSKK), said that the SNPDB registration process at the national flagship madrasah will be officially open in 2024 from January 8 to February 17, 2024. He explained that graduates of Pondok Pesantren Muadah and Santri PDF who have SK Kemenag RI can register as prospective students at State Madrasah Aliyah Insan Cendikia (MAN IC), special program state madrasah aliyah.

“The SNPDB (National Selection of New Learners) of 2024 also provides a religious achievement pathway. Prospective students with the ability to read the book of turats (the yellow book) and memorize the Quran at least 15 juz can enroll in MAN PK. This additional path of achievement is intended to be accepted at MAN PK only,” he said.

Sidik hopes to enroll soon and take advantage of the opportunity to get quality madrasah education services. In addition, they will equip themselves and play a role in the development of the nation as potential winners and the next generation of the madrasah-like nation.
