REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PONTIANAK -- Nasyiatul Aisyiyah from year to year faces very complex challenges from various directions. According to the General Chairman of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Center Leadership, Ariati Dina Puspitasari, from period to period, the challenges faced are getting bigger with the rapid pace of change.

Despite always trying to overcome the problem, Nasyiah must work hard to continue to find sustainable solutions. This was stated by Ariati at the opening iftitah speech of Tanwir I Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in Pendopo, West Kalimantan Governorate, Friday (12/1/2024), in his press release.

According to Ariati, the world is currently facing VUCA, an acronym for volatility (a rapidly changing and unstable world), uncertainty (an uncertain future), complexity (a more complex modern world), ambiguity (a confusing environment).

Post-Covid-19, the intensity of VUCA is increasing. The challenges that leaders need are getting tougher because of this. Ariati insists that strong leadership characters are needed, including women leaders who have agile leadership character. The character of agile leadership emphasizes collaboration between individuals so that it can meet challenges quickly and flexibly.

line with Ariati's statement, General Secretary of the Muhammadiyah Center Leadership, Abdul Mu'ti, in his commission stated that the problem of the family concerns not only the future of the people, but also the future of the nation.

“There are quite serious symptoms among the world community, including those in Indonesia, which is a tendency in which many young people choose not to have a family for various reasons, some of which have to do with career reasons or other fundamental reasons, especially related to the paradigm shift about the meaning of family in people's lives,” Abdul Mu'ti said.

Another challenge that is not simple, is when many families are in trouble, families are broken with all the consequences. Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, according to Abdul Mu'ti, has started a movement according to the character of women who are committed that this nation will be advanced, strong and great if the family as the smallest component can become a resilient family.

“These are the roles of nationality in the cultural path as developed by Nasyiatul Aisyah,” Abdul Mu'ti said.

Meanwhile, Assistant 3 Acting Governor of West Kalimantan, Alfian Salam, appreciated Nasyiatul Aisyiyah's work programs. Including the theme of the tanwir “Keluarga Muda Tangguh, Strengthen Indonesia”, which according to him is very suitable for the conditions in Indonesia with challenges in the social, economic, and political spheres.

“For a challenge like this, it takes a tough family, and a strong foundation,” Alfian said.

The aspects of faith, morality, and education are the main foundations of establishing the family as the smallest unit of society in building a nation. Resilient families will build resilient generations.
