AMIN Electability Rises According to Archi Survey, Anies: Bismillah, We Will Win

According to Archi survey, AMIN electability is up while Prabowo-Gibran is down.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MATARAM -- Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan responded to an Archi survey that showed AMIN's electability increased, while candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka experienced a decrease in electability. Anies said he did not know about the results of the survey.

“Anyway, we still have Bismillah going forward,” Anies said briefly on the sidelines of campaigning in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on Tuesday (6/2/2024).

Previously known, the ARCHI pollster released the results of a survey from January 26 to February 1, 2024, which showed that the electability of the Capres and Cawapres AMIN pairs increased, while the electability of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair decreased.

ARCHI Executive Director Mukhradis Hadi Kusuma explained that based on the survey results, AMIN's passport increased from the previous survey of 33.61 percent and now stands at 37.63 percent, while Prabowo-Gibran previously reached 45.9 percent, but now stands at 44.85 percent.

“Prabowo-Gibran remains in the lead with 44.85 percent electability, followed by Anies-Muhaimin with 37.63 percent, and Ganjar-Mahfud 15.95 percent,” Hadi Kusuma said in a written statement on Monday (5/2/2024).

He said that in this survey respondents were asked the related question “When in the voting booth, who is the spouse of the presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate that you choose.” While the survey results showed those who did not vote or abstained amounted to 0.19 percent and those who did not know or did not answer as much as 1.39 percent.

She further explained that the survey was conducted for Indonesian citizens who already have the right to vote, namely 17 years old or married with a total of 2,400 respondents in 38 provinces throughout Indonesia. He added that the survey used a stratified multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of about 2 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
