REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SAMARINDA -- The first day of working after Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri leave, Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik conducted monitoring of the office under the auspices of the Provincial Government of Kaltim. He went to the Manunggal One-Atop Administrative System Office (Samsat) of Parent Samarinda on Jalan Wahid Hasyim and Samsat Mepat Alaya Joint Office in Sungai Pinang Dalam, North Samarinda.
At the two locations on Tuesday (16/4/2024), Akmal saw first-hand public services when people paid motor vehicle tax after a long holiday during the holiday with Lebaran. He was accompanied by Regional Secretary (Sekda) Sri Wahyuni and Assistant General Administration Riza Indra Riadi along with the heads of related regional device organizations (OPD).
“We are here in the provincial government, Mrs. Sekda, Mr. Assistant, Head of BKD, Inspectorate, trying to see if our ASN has fulfilled its obligations, to return to duty after the completion of Lebaran's leave. Thank God it went well,” Akmal told reporters.
He felt that a visit to the location of the service unit was to get input on the shortcomings felt by the community. “And that's why it's important that we take to the field to see the problem and find a solution. The bottom line is that over time we will continue to improve this,” Akmal said after reviewing Samsat Parent Samarinda.
The Director General of the Autonomous Region of the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the services in Samsat Samarinda have all gone well. Various programs are implemented to bring services closer to the community and make it easier for the community as a taxpayer to meet its obligations to pay the CLA.
“Earlier we used the online approach as well, the registration of the vehicle tax was enough five minutes they could pay outside and just print it here. Also the five-year one is easier because it has already done an online approach,” Akmla said.
After that, Akmal went to RSUD AW Sjahranie and RSUD Atma Husada Mahakam. The Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Kaltim Deni Sutrisno, the Regional Inspector of Kaltim, Irfan Prananta, and the Head of the Organization Bureau Iwan Setiawan accompanied.
“In essence, we local governments together with all ranks will continue to try to improve such performances so that our people feel comfortable and safe doing their activities,” Akmal said.
