REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANJARMASIN — PT Adaro Energy Indonesia once again showed its commitment to sharing happiness with the surrounding community in order to celebrate its 32nd anniversary. This time, the food distribution program targets poor household families around Adaro Water's operational area, namely IPA (Water Treatment Agency) of PT Drupadi Tirta Intan (DTI), which cooperates with Rumah Zakat Banjarmasin with a total of 96 packages of raw materials.

Distribution of raw materials is carried out in several locations, including around PT Drupadi Tirta Intan, PT Air Minum Intan Banjar in Sungai Tabuk area, as well as areas RT. 01, 02, and 03 in Pematang Panjang Village.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmad Yani as the Head of Branch 2 of PT Air Minum Intan Banjar (PDAM) expressed his gratitude to PT Drupadi Tirta Intan for the food assistance provided to the community around PT Air Minum Intan Banjar.

“Thank you very much to Adaro for helping the residents around the Tabuk River. This assistance in the form of food parcels greatly helps underprivileged citizens. We hope that this activity is sustainable, so that the surrounding community can continue to feel the happiness of sharing this food package,” Ahmad Yani said in a written statement, Monday (19/8/2024).

One of the beneficiaries was Grandfather H. Zainutul Bahri from RT.3, Pematang Panjang Village, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. H Zainutul Bahri's grandfather, who is daily only at home because he is elderly and visually impaired, also expressed his gratitude for the help received.

At the age of 80, he lives alone in his small house and receives daily consumption from his immediate family. Despite his physical limitations, Grandpa Zainutul Bahri remained grateful and spirited to live his days. “I am very grateful to PT Drupadi Tirta Intan for the food provided. May Adaro remain forward and successful,” he said.

Thank God, through the CSR program Adaro can bring smiles and happiness to people in need. In this activity, Sindu Galih Putra as President Director of DTI said, “Thank God the event went smoothly. The event was as part of Adaro's 32nd birthday. We have been distributing food parcels to the community. I am happy to see people accept and pray for Adaro. I hope this event can be sustainable, can be improved again, and I hope Adaro remains successful,” Sindu said.
