A sustainable investment that will absorps tens of thousands of local workers will soon be launched in Bengkulu Province on Tuesday, November 19. This ambitious project will be managed by Hello Green Nusantara and Bengkulu Mandiri, two companies that have been experienced in leading green business.
This green collaboration will be held in the Ballroom of Mercure Hotel Bengkulu, and will be attended by a number of ministers, Members of parliament and authority of Bengkulu.
Hello Green Nusantara refers to its homebase: Hello Green Foundation in Washington, United States. This company expressed its commitment to creating innovative projects and committed to create green and renewable energy. Five main projects will be signed together, including: Bengkulu Sampang Processing Industry, Bengkulu Fort Marlborough Hotel, Baai Island Special Economic Zone (KEK), and Hydrogen bus production.
Development Program for Bengkulu Province
Nugroho Tirto Sampurno, Director of Hello Green Nusantara, stated that the first phase of the program will be focused on the waste processing industry
“That will be the construction of waste disposal and treatment facilities, the establishment of a new industrial area, and tourism. We will create Bengkulu as the main destination of world tourism,” Nugroho said.
President Director of PT Bengkulu Mandiri (Perseroda), Saud El Hujjaj explains his commitment and cooperation that will be implemented with Hello Green.
“We as a company based in the Bengkulu are very pleased and welcome to this cooperation. This is our joint effort to safeguard the earth and build a sustainability,” he said.
Saud also added that the strategic project together with Hello Green will have a significant impact on economic growth in Bengkulu Province and improving wellfare of people. It will absorbs thousands of local workers involving in mechanical and technical affair, administration, board of management, and other.
“This strategic project will grow the economy and give chance to derivative industries, the potential absorption of local labor could reach tens of thousands of people,” Saud said.
