REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The head of Indonesian Red Cross, Jusuf Kalla, said that he would send the volunteers to Myanmar to help Rohingya refugees. "We plan to go this week, but we are still waiting for Myanmar's permission," he said.

The volunteers, he said, would consist of six people. They will be tasked as field team that monitor the condition in Myanmar. "They will bring the aid. The medical team will follow," Kalla said.

The Spokesman of Indonesian Red Cross Aulia Arriani said on Wednesday that the aid would be delivered on August 25.  The aid is in the form of 500 hygiene kit (such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, detergent, towel, and bucket), 3,000 blankets, and 10,000 saroong.
