REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- About 44 partners of PT Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC) III received loans worth 960 million IDR to develop their business. They came from 11 existing towns or districts in East Java.
General Manager of IPC III in Tanjung Perak, Rismarture explained that all partners consisted of 13 trained partners from trade sectors, service sectors (5), industrial sectors (24) and livestock (2).
"It is the 23rd times that we distribute this fund for working capital to all partners," Rismarture said on Monday.
Fund distribution has been conducted since 2003 totaled of 30.572 billion USD to 1,255 trained partners. They received entrepreneurship training organized by company in cooperation with Center for Research and Development Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University of Malang. This training is divided into three sessions, namely entrepreneurship, financial management for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and business clinic, followed by trained partners from Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Jombang, Blitar, Malang, Lamongan, Kediri, Pasuruan, Bangkalan and Sumenep.
Finance Director of IPC III, Wahyu Suparyono said that company has corporate social responsibility (CSR) program worth 36.9 billion IDR. The fund consists of partnership program worth 24.85 billion IDR and community development program worth 12.05 billion IDR. Rr Laeny Sulistyawati/Mutia Ramadhani
