REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Jakarta General Election Commission (KPUD) has held a declaration of peaceful campaign and integrity, at Monas, Central Jakarta, Saturday (10/29). "We expected Jakarta Gubernatorial election 2017 runs safely and peaceful," said Jakarta KPUD chairman Sumarno while attending the event.

The campaign was attended by three pairs of Jakarta gubernatorial election 2017 candidates. All three candidates namely Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono-Sylviana Murni, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama-Djarot Saiful Hidayat and Anies Baswedan-Sandiaga Uno. They have signed declaration of peace and integrity campaign.

The event was also attended by the Acting Jakarta Governor, Sumarsono. In addition, there were also representatives of the General Election Commission (KPU), Ferry Kurnia Rizkiyansyah and Commissioner of Elections Supervisory Board (Bawaslu). In the event, candidates signed a peace inscription and convoy of decorated cars from three pairs of candidates.
