REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, UBUD -- Foreign tourists from Middle East conducting Familization Trip (Fam Trip), not only for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) activities by visiting various hotels.
They are also invited to wade Ayung River in Ubud area which is famous for its natural beauty. A tour guide, Yunus who accompanied Middle East travelers during Fam Trip said rafting activity along 11 kilometers was very enjoyful. Even, they were reluctant to leave the boat and wanted to continue rowing.
"They are very happy. There are want more," Yunus said in official statement to Republika.co.id on Friday (27/5).
One participant of Fam Trip, Emad Sultan acknowledge it is hard to describe the beauty of natural scenery of Ubud during and after the rafting activity.
"Very nice. I like the natural beauty and its rivers. I will bring my family to come again in Indonesia," he said. The Ministry of Tourism held activities of Familization Trip (FamTrip) with 14 travel agents from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Cairo, Egypt, in 22-28 May 2016. Famtrip has aim to explore more tourist objects in the area of Jakarta, Bandung and ended in Bali.
