“We have not sorted out the data for each day, but the overall figure is based on the results of spectators scanning the ticket barcodes at the ticket entrances to the spectator stands,” he said accompanied by Mandalika MotoGP Chairman Troy Warokka, Head of NTB Tourism Office, Jamaluddin Malady and Kapokja International Event Kemenpar Ki Agus Irvan Faesal at the Mandalika Circuit Media Center, Sunday (29/9/29) 2024).

According to him, this number of spectators is equal to Dorna Sport's record, and there is an increase in the number of MotoGP spectators in 2024 compared to the number of MotoGP spectators in 2023 which reached 102,929 people and in 2022 by 102,801.

“There is an increase in audience numbers when you look at it from 2022 and 2023. So for 2024 this is higher,” he said.

Apart from the spectator side, a positive note from the MotoGP 2024 event, is that the marshals all use local power than before still using outside power.

“What is also interesting is the record of dorna and the drivers in this MotoGP 2024, they claim to be satisfied with the track condition, track cleanliness, paint, and preparation done better than ever,” said Priandhi Satria.

Therefore, in the upcoming MotoGP 2025, it promises to do even more preparation.

In line with the MGPA Dirut, Mandalika MotoGP Chairman Troy Warokka also said there was an increase in the number of spectators reaching 120,000 people from the previous MotoGP.

“We express our thanks and appreciation to the people of NTB, the results of the three-day activity were encouraging from Friday to Sunday relatively nothing ugly. Even if there are small things like drivers falling, the medical team is dealt with quickly and well,” he said.

On the other hand, traffic is generally good. Even if there is a traffic jam, it is still at a normal level and is handled by police and military officers well and is degraded and roadworthy.

In addition, MotoGP 2024 was also attended by President Jokowi accompanied by a number of ministers, such as Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Menpora Dito Ariotedjo, RB Minister Azwar Anas and also Menpar Sandiaga Uno who previously attended.

“It means that the presence of this government is very supportive and the President is enjoying this MotoGP very much,” he said.

The head of NTB Tourism Department, Jamaluddin Malady also admitted to appreciating the success of MotoGP 2024, especially the presence of President Jokowi with the ministers and the large number of spectators.

To that end, it hopes that in MotoGP 2025 both from the preparations and the number of spectators can be much more so that the benefits or impact for the area are good.

“What will be a shortcoming will be our evaluation together for a much better MotoGP 2025,” he said.
