Prabowo: Those Who Do Not Support Free Nutrition Eating Out Of Government
Prabowo is convinced that the free nutrition eating program is strategic.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto welcomes ministers and heads of special institutions/bodies in the White Red Cabinet to quit the government if they do not support the Nutritious Eating program for children and pregnant women.
When giving directions at the introduction of the Plenary Cabinet Session, which is the inaugural cabinet meeting, chaired by President Prabowo Subianto, the Nutritious Eating program for children and pregnant women was strategic.
“I'm right. I bet... I bet on my leadership. For me, this nutritious meal for children and pregnant women is strategic. Those who do not support this please get out of the government I lead,” President Prabowo said at the President's Office, Presidential Palace, Jakarta on Wednesday.
President Prabowo invited ministers, heads of specialized agencies, and other minister-level officials to work in a team, considering that the Nutritious Eating program is part of Indonesia's revival plan.
Regarding the program, Prabowo asked the Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana and all ministries to prepare for the program to be implemented in a targeted and measurable way.
Prabowo also called on ministers and heads/agencies not to be afraid of difficulties. The president also heard that there were some figures who doubted the ability of him and the Red and White Cabinet to implement a nutritious eating program.
However, the President reiterated that the administration under his leadership could manage and allocate funds in order to achieve the targets.
“I'm not saying that this can be done in 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 months. None of us have the baton of the Prophet (PBUH), but we can count, we can manage, we can allocate funds, we can allocate resources, and we will achieve the targets we set,” Prabowo said.
