REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- Linde, the world's leading gas company, will invest US $ 2 million to expand its factory in Bogor, West Java. Linde expands plant production to provide high purity nitrogen gas with the aim of meeting growing customer demands. The plant is expected to be completed and operational in early 2022.
The plant, which is built with sophisticated technology, will operate in an energy efficient, cost-effective, and reliable manner to produce a continuous flow of nitrogen gas. This plant is designed with the capacity to increase production which is useful to support the growing demand for nitrogen in the future. This investment is also the foundation for a new 15-year supply scheme with PT Elangperdana Tire Industry, a leading car tire manufacturer.

Managing Director of PT Elangperdana Tire Industry, Dicky Mursalie, added that he is pleased to collaborate with Linde in providing gas supply that is managed safely and reliably, as well as on their dedication and commitment to grow with us as a long-term partner. "We appreciate the innovative solutions provided by Linde which are accompanied by improvements in quality and productivity that have a direct impact on overall cost management," he said.
The new plant will be integrated into the Linde Remote Operating Center (ROC) system. Through remote network access, employees at the ROC will monitor, operate, and control systems and equipment at 108 Linde plants across the ASEAN Region, South Asia and the South Pacific, to deliver greater operational efficiency, optimize resources and reduce down time.
