SBY departs for ASEAN summit in Cambodia

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) took Saturday flight to Cambodia to attend ASEAN Summit, East Asia Summit, and some other bilateral meetings in Phnom Penh. SBY is also scheduled to fly to Islamabad, Pakistan, a place where D8 Summit takes place, in November 22.

In Phnom Penh, SBY will hold bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Wen Jia Bao and attend ASEAN Business Council, as reported by Arys Hilman from Republika. Then on November 20, SBY will be present at ASEAN Global Dialogue with President of ADB Haruhiko Kuroda, Managing Director IMF Christine Lagarde, Managing Director World Bank Caroline Anstey, General Secretary of UNCTAD Supachai Panitchpak, and Director General of WTO Pascal Lamy.

SBY then fly to Islamabad and is expected to meet his counterpart, President Asif Ali Zardari. He also will meet Prime Minister of Pakistan Pervez Ashraf.
