Possible final nuclear deal encourages UK to reopen Tehran Embassy

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHRAN -- A political commentator said the prospect of a possible final nuclear deal between Iran and the G5+1 has encouraged the UK to reopen its embassy in Tehran.

Seyyed Jala Sadatian who used to serve as Iran's ambassador to London said that Britain certainly regards Iran as a significant country in the region.

He made the remarks while talking to IRNA on Saturday on news that the UK intends to reopen its embassy in Tehran.

He said the conditions are now sutiable for normalization of diplomatic ties between Tehran and London but any progress in nuclear talks could accelerate the procedure.

He noted that a number of other European countries too have behaved likewise since they sensed the growing chances of a comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the Sixtet.

He referred to the dispatch of political delegations to Iran by European countries in spite of US warnings.
