REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to attend the Sixth Congress of Indonesian Muslims held in Yogyakarta, Wednesday.
The head of state left Jakarta for Yogyakarta by presidential plane from Halim Perdanakusuma airforce base at 8:20 am, Wednesday.
He is expected to return to Jakarta at noon, and will chair a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Office at 3 pm.
The congress is participated in among others by leaders of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Muhammadiyah, the Islam Unity (Persis) and the Indonesia Islamic Preaching Institution (LDII).
