PMI to help resolving conflict between Rohingya-Rakhine

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) will help Rohigya and Rakhine recover from conflict in Myanmar. "We will meet several ministers to talk on recovery program for refugees in Rakhine State Myanmar," the Secretary General of PMI, Budi A Adiputro, said on Friday.

PMI, represented by Adiputro, the delegation of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), and Turkey Ambassador to Myanmar are scheduled to meet Myanmar's ministers in Nay Pyi Taw. "We will discuss it as well as using humanitarian diplomacy, which is not only talking on humanitarian side, but also social, culture, politic, and economic aspects. It is for the sake of the victims' future," he said.
