REPUBLIKA.CO.ID JAKARTA - Several Indonesian Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) will gather in Myanmar at the end of October. Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT), National Zakat Board (Baznas), and Dompet Dhuafa (DD) are among others.
They are all scheduled to bring medical aids and build shelter for Rohingya. PMI team had been in Myanmar for a month. The team-consists of 18 people-will deliver ambulance. "I hope the dispatch of ambulance will run well," the Head of PMI for Rohingya, M Arifin, said.
Meanwhile, ACT team will do finishing touch of two blocks of refugee shelter. "We will also provide 500 livestock in Eid al-Adha," the spokesman of ACT, Ferry Kuntoro, said.
Next week, Baznas team will join other NGOs in Myanmar. "We will depart at the end of October," an official from Baznas, Hermin, said on Tuesday.
