REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Minister of Industry MS Hidayat asks Japanese companies which allegedly practicing dumping to be more transparent and bow to the Indonesian regulation. Recently, Indonesia suspected five Japanese companies for conducting dumping of metal products, such as cold rolled coil (CRC) exported to Indonesia from Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Minister Hidayat asked Japanese companies to be cooperative as only one of five who had answered the questioner and willing to be investigated. "Because this is based on World Trade Organization (WTO) regulation, it has to be settled based on WTO. There must be investigation and hearing," he said on Monday.
