SKK-Migas expects 13 projects to begin production in 2014

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (SKK-Migas) has predicted that a total of 13 oil and gas projects will begin production in 2014.

SKK-Migas Public Relations Head Elan Biantoro said in a press release here on Sunday that the combined production capacity of the 13 projects was 954 million metric standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) and 194,121 barrels of oil per day.

"We are committed to completing the projects on time," he said.

The projects included Baciko 7B with Total E&P Indonesie as the contractor. It is targeted to produce 170 mmscfd and 4,000 barrels per day.
