Indonesian junior team goes to the final of world championship

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - Indonesian badminton team stepped into final round of Jati BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2014. Indonesian team manager, Maria Frasisca said that Indonesian team won over Thailand in semi final in Alor Setar, Malaysia on Thursday.

"They showed remarkable performance. Their spirit was high despite the they failed in the beginning of the match. The victory is beyond our expectation," Frasisca said recently.

The road to victory was gained by winning three of five games. Mixed double's pair, Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rosyita Eka Putri Sari secured the first point for Indonesian team. They won two games over Dechapol Puaranukroh and Puttita Supajikrul with scores of 21-19 and 21-19. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting added two points after defeating Kentaphon Wangcharoen with scores of 21-13 and 21-7. Women's double pair, Rosyita and Apriani Rahayu grabbed the points from Busanan Ongbumrungpan and Puttita Supajirakul with scores of 21-9 and 21-13.

"I am grateful to contribute two points for Indonesia," Rosyita said.
