This, confirmed by the Corporate Secretary of PT Bio Farma, M Rahman Rustan, responding to the findings of fake vaccines in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Police tipid Eksus.
"Related, to the fake vaccine, we are currently coordinating with relevant parties, including the Ministry of Health and the Drug and Food Supervisory Agency regarding the circulation problem of fake vaccines," said Rahman told reporters on Wednesday (22/6).
Rahman said the strict standards to make the company's products from Bandung to be authentic and of good quality. So that the originality of its products is protected and globally reputable.
"For the distribution of vaccines in the country, we also make sure the security of distribution by the supervision of the provincial health department," he said.
As for the private sector, he said, through authorized distributors to have periodic audits in order to ensure quality and safety of its products. Thus, there will be no leakage of the delivery which could then be misused by other the elements. "Besides, we also regularly provide awareness to the user to be able to distinguish the packaging of fake vaccine vs genuine," he said.
