REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita hoped the elected governor able to build a conducive atmosphere in the society.
"Otherwise, how can we add job opportunity, increase economic development and improve the welfare of the community?" he asked retoric after using his right to vote at polling station 1, Selong, South Jakarta, on Wednesday.
Enggar said there were many homework for elected governor. The governor must not only develop the infrastructure but also classic problems, such as floods and traffic jams.
Therefore, Enggar urged the elected governor would lead Jakarta to have an integrated development. Not only build the infrastructure, but also prepare the system. "We can not see it in bits and pieces because the construction of public facilities and various things for the benefit of the community should be integrated," he remarked.
On the other hand, Enggar hoped the elected governor to provide firmness and equal legal certainty to the business community. He remarked the local government also plays important role. "The role of local government is not only as regulator, but also accelerator of development," he said.
