REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Central Java High Court reported that 13 fugitives involved in corruption cases remained free. Head of Information in Central Java High Court, Eko Suwarni said overall there were 17 fugitives including convicts, defendants, as well as suspects, were still out there and free.
"About 17 fugitives are still free in 11 prosecuting authorityies, including Central Java Prosecutor's Office," Suwarni said on Saturday.
List of all fugitives have been shared to entire region in Indonesia. Suwarni asked public to report if they know their existance. Some fugitives are still enjoy freedom such as former Regent of Semarang, Bambang Guritno who has been sentenced since Februari 2013, in corruption case of procurement of student's text books.
While some other fugitives cannot be executed by the authority. For example, Director of CV Enhat, Yanuelva Etliana who has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in fraud case of Central Java Bank.
