REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Attorney General's Office arrested another suspect in an alleged graft case related to the procurement of articulated buses for the Transjakarta Bus Network. The suspect, identified by his initials as HH, is a former employee of the Jakarta transportation office, according to a spokesman of the Attorney General's Office, Tony T. Spontana, on Monday.

The Attorney General's Office made the arrest for fear that the suspect will flee, destroy evidence, and repeat his criminal offense, Spontana stated. HH was named as a suspect in the alleged graft case on May 16 this year.

HH is charged with violating article 2 paragraph 1, or article 3 adj. article 18 of law number 31/1999 on corruption eradication, and adj. law number 20/2001 on amendment to law number 31/1999.

"He is being held at the Salemba penitentiary," the spokesman affirmed.
