REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is scheduled to hold a consultation meeting with leaders of the House of Representatives (DPR) at the Parliament Building, here, Monday (6/4).

Jokowi had earlier expressed hope that the meeting with lawmakers could yield positive results with regard to improving relations between the executives and legislatives.

The president made the statement at the Merdeka Palace, on Sunday evening, following his arrival from Solo, Minister/State Secretary Pratikno noted in a short text message to the press.

During the meeting with legislators, the president will also discuss about the appointment of the new police chief candidate.
