REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Golkar Party's lawyer Yusril Ihza Mahendra has viewed that Justice and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Laoly's statements in the State Administrative Court (PTUN) on Monday can boomerang.

"The justice and human rights minister (in the court) admitted three times that a verdict quoted in the ministry's decree (on the Golkar Party's leadership structure) was not the verdict of the Golkar Party's internal Tribunal. The minister's statements can boomerang," Yusril Mahendra tweeted on his account, @Yusrilihza_Mhd, Monday.

During the trial, the minister admitted that his decree quoted views expressed by two members of the Golkar Party's Tribunal, Djasri Marin and Andi Mattallatta, who recognized results from the Ancol national congress that appointed Agung Laksono as party chairman.

Meanwhile, two other members of the Tribunal, Muladi and Natabaya, expressed different views.

By making the statement, the minister has agreed with the argument submitted by incumbent Aburizal Bakrie-led Golkar Party that the minister misquoted the Golkar Party Tribunal's decision.

The court will resume on April 30 to hear the views of experts recommended by plaintiff Aburizal Bakrie-led Golkar Party.

During the trial, Minister Laoly stated that the PTUN had no right to handle the case as it concerned an internal conflict of a political party, and hence, should be handled by a district court.
