REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Idul Fitri holiday railway transport ticket can be purchase at 00.00 on Monday (28/3).
Public Relations Manager PT KAI Daop 5 Purwokerto Surono said according to reservation terms it is can be done 90 days from the date of departure.
"Lebaran transport period, we have set the start date of 26 June 2016 or H-10 before Lebaran. If countdown since the first day of Lebaran transport period, then train reservations can be done since Monday (28/3) starting at 00.00," said Surono on Sunday.
Surono said the ticket reservation open for reguler train with usual schedule. As for the Lebaran additional railway transport not open for puchase yet because still wait for the study PT KAI to predict the numbers of passenger and the trains avaiable.
Similar like Idul Fitri last year and on normal day, the sale of trains tickets conducted online. People can get reservations via kereta-api.co.id, smartphone application, KAI contact center 121, ticket agent or the other ticket seller.
