REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Etihan Airways management apologize officially to Dwi Ariyani. Etihad also offering Dwi alternative route.
Dwi is a pasenger with a wheelchair that previously rejected by Etihad Airways crew to fly to Geneva. "We deeply apologize for the inconvinience to Ariyani while asked to leave the plane," Account Management for Etihad Airways Ningsih Chandra said on Thursday.
According to that official statement, Etihad Airways management also said they see comfort and pasenger safety as a priority. The Dwi rejection incident will be handled seriously. "In this incident, we did not follow wheelchair user procedure," Ningsih continued.
On that statement, Ningsih also said will conduct an internal probe related to discrimination to Dwi already did comprehensively by Etihad Airways.
