Pertamina office in Semarang threaten to detonate

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG -- Office of state owned company PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region IV Central Java and Yogyakarta, received threats sent by a text message (SMS) and the content is would blow up the office.

Spokesman for PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region IV Suyanto confirmed that the short message containing the threat was received by one of the employees from the information technology department.

Teams of Gegana Central Java Police Mobile Brigade deployed to the scene to combed. Suyanto explained the threat of short messages received on Wednesday (1/6), in 07.30 am.

"The content of message was not specific about bomb, but just the threat to detonate," he said in Semarang on Wednesday.

SMS threat, he said, immediately forwarded to the police for further action. After  combing the office complex, police found a suspicious object. Although no threat is found, Suyanto continued, the officers remained on guard at the site.
