REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- General Chairman of Projo Budi Arie asked volunteers supporting Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to revoke the report against the Butet Kertaredjaya culture to the police.
Budi Arie in his written statement in Jakarta, Monday (5/2/2024), confirmed that President Joko Widodo specifically asked Projo to revoke Butet's reporting in the Special Regional Police of Yogyakarta.
“Don't make a crowd in public, I'm the one who was the target of Mr. Butet's spiel and didn't complain to the police, anyway. Moreover, Mr. Butet is “a friend himself,” Budi Arie said, repeating President Jokowi's explanation.
Earlier, Butet Kertaredjaya was reported to Polda DIY for alleged insults against President Jokowi in accordance with Act No. 1 of 1946 on the Criminal Code referred to in Article 315.
