REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Pertamina (Persero) took part in the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. Through this event, Pertamina through its subsidiary Pertamina Patra Niaga (VAT) brought the issue of green energy.
That is in line with the government's target of achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2060. Pertamina Patra Niaga's VP of Marketing Strategy Indra Edi Santoso said the acceleration of green energy use in Indonesia needs to be supported by downstream infrastructure development and massive provision of clean fuels.
“As the national energy manager, we continue to be responsible for bringing fuel products with renewable energy such as Pertamax Green 95 and bioenergy to prepare the 'green' energy transition in Indonesia,” Indra said in a press release on Thursday (18/7/2024).
Indra exemplifies other downstream infrastructure that VAT has provided is the Green Energy Station (GES), charging stations for electric cars and battery swapping stations for electric motors. Pertamina's presence in GIIAS this time is expected to provide solutions to green energy needs.
