Erick Prays Best for U-17 Team in 2025 U-17 Asian Cup Qualifier

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Chairman of the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) Erick Thohir offered the best prayers to the Indonesia U-17 team that will play in the qualifying round of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup in Kuwait.

Indonesia is in Group G along with Australia, the Northern Mariana Islands and Kuwait. Garuda Muda will play the three qualifying matches on October 23-27.

“Enthusiasm and give your best for Indonesia in the U17 Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers,” Erick wrote on his official Instagram account on Thursday (17/10/2024).

As of today, U-17 national coach Nova Arianto has called 23 names to participate in the U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers in Kuwait.

Nova has picked 23 of the best names after he made intensive preparations on centering drills in Spain and Qatar some time ago.

Indonesia will play its first match against Kuwait on October 23, then against the Northern Mariana Islands on October 25, and last against Australia on October 27.

Together with hosts Saudi Arabia, the ten group champions and the five best runners up will play in the final round on 3—20 April 2025.
