REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Syura Assembly Speaker of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Salim Segaf Al Jufri believes the victory of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) will bring better change for Indonesia. One of the issues he said needed to change was the government's policy of not siding with the small raccoons.
“Change will not happen if we do not join hands. For 10 years, we've felt how tough the economy is. Government policies and legislation that do not side with the small people, this must change,” Salim said in a press release on Saturday (10/2/2024).
Salim said that change must take place immediately for the sake of a better future of the nation. He admitted that he also took part in walking to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) when he was about to attend AMIN's grand campaign. During the 1.5-hour walk, he saw many participants who seemed comfortable without complaints.
“Although many participants walked, everything was comfortable and without complaints. It is a sign that change is about to happen in this country and is felt by all,” he said.
He then emphasized the spirit of love of the motherland as the key to change. According to him, all elements of the nation should be ready to love Indonesia with all its tribes, religions, and groups. No less important is taking care of nature. All, he said, must be ready to defend NKRI not just as a slogan, but from the deepest heart.
“Change will not happen if we do not join hands, shoulder to shoulder, and stand in solidarity for the prosperity of the Indonesian people,” he said.
With that spirit, Salim hopes Indonesia can realize a state of prosperity, prosperity, and homelessness for all its people. Akbar Anies-Muhaimin's campaign was attended by millions of supporters from various groups, attended by Capres Vice-President Anies Baswedan Muhaimin Iskandar, the nation's leader Jusuf Kalla and the leader of the supporting political party.
