in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/5/2024).

Danu explained that the jungar tradition is one of the regular activities that are characteristic of the Kostrad Skull unit. The jungar action could not be followed by any Kostrad troops. Because, the activity is only carried out by people who have been trained and selected from the Kostrad unit.

“Only qualified and trained soldiers are capable of static parachuting, and this ability must be constantly honed and can be applied to combat operations,” Danu said.

Therefore, Danu assures that this jungle action, which is only carried out once a year, must be carefully prepared by the personnel who have been selected. For the training process itself, Danu continued, soldiers conducted parachuting exercises using the Hercules transport aircraft belonging to the AU military from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta.

With that practice, Danu assures, Yonif 305/Krankorak will present the maximum performance in the upcoming jungar event.
