REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of State Secretary Pratikno said President Joko Widodo held a meeting with President-elect Prabowo Subianto at Jokowi's private residence in Sumber, Solo, Central Java, Sunday (13/10/2024).

“Right, at Mr. Jokowi's private residence in Sumber (Solo). Silaturahmi, togetherness and sustainability. That is the main theme,” Mensesneg Pratikno said via a brief message in Jakarta.

Earlier it was reported that Vice President-elect who is also Jokowi's son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka appeared to pick up Prabowo Subianto at Adi Soemarmo Solo Airport.

Next, the two took a car to the residence of President Joko Widodo in Sumber, Banjarsari District, Solo.

The two arrived at President Jokowi's residence at 2:15pm. On that occasion, Prabowo, who is currently Minister of Defense, wore a batik top, black pants, and wore peci.

While Gibran wore a white top and black pants. On his arrival Prabowo briefly waved to reporters.

However, neither statement was given by either to reporters.

Separately, DPC Gerindra Surakarta Chairman Ardianto Kuswinarno said Prabowo Subianto's activities in Solo were a sudden agenda.

“We were told it was not a party activity. That's why we were ordered not to accompany,” he said.
